Our commitment

Push Pounds Sports Medicine is committed to providing services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities, consistent with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation, and the Ontario Human Rights Code.

Many of the people who come to us for osteoarthritis care have mobility limitations. Accessibility is not an abstraction for this clinic.

This website

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Measures we build to include:

• Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading order
• Text alternatives for meaningful images
• Keyboard navigability throughout
• Colour contrast meeting AA thresholds
• A responsive layout that supports 200% zoom without loss of content
• Form fields with programmatically associated labels
• Visible focus indicators

Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished state. If you encounter a barrier on this site, please tell us using the details below and we will address it and provide the information you were looking for in another way.

Our clinics

Service animals and support persons are welcome at both locations.

If you would like to know about physical access at either site before your visit — entry, elevators, washrooms, or parking — call us and we will describe the location in detail and make arrangements where we can.

Alternative formats

On request, we will provide information in an accessible format, or with communication support, at no additional cost and in a timely manner. We will consult with you about a format that works.

Service disruptions

If an accessibility feature is temporarily unavailable — an elevator out of service, for example — we will post notice at the affected location and on this page, with the reason, the expected duration, and any alternative arrangements.

Training

Staff receive training on the AODA and the Ontario Human Rights Code appropriate to their role.
